Last month I completed Part 1 of a two part training in EMDR. Maybe the best professional investment I've made since grad school some twenty plus years ago. I am an intrigued believer in this weird therapeutic model. As with anything, it's uncomfortable to be in the learning stage. I impatiently want to fast forward to the experienced expert stage, but you know what they say about getting to play at Carnegie Hall (practice, practice, practice!). If you're curious to know more about EMDR, here are a couple of videos that briefly describe what it's about.
